Adding a "friend" to join my 6263

So you can say I've dove head first into vintages, with picking up a second vintage to complement my 6263. Although I have not owned vintages till relatively recently, I've always kept an eye and research on vintages while focusing more on modern pieces in my collection.

The 6263 was a tipping point for me, and without really looking, this piece came across my radar by chance and as it's a piece that's been on the back of my mind for years (even before the 6263), this example was too good to pass up and so I formally found a "friend" for my 6263.

I'm really happy to say that I'm a proud owner of a MK4 DRSD!

As much as I love modern Subs, I really love how the 1665 wears as the size and weight is a huge contrast with the 6263 (in a good way) and reminds me of modern subs but with all the vintage charm (best of both worlds). The dial and hands are just too good to pass up, and has a creamy patina that I personally prefer over white or pumpkin, and with an honest case to boot, it was just too tempting. I think I'm going to be sticking with this pair for a while. Here are a few pics I took to share.
