failed pressure test help?

I'd like to please request some advice as I've been offered a used Rolex datejust where the seller(not original owner) said they took it to an authorized Rolex service center where they discovered that the diamond bezel is aftermarket and as a result the watch wont pass a pressure test and hence the watch is not waterproof. They said the only way to correct the problem would be to find an original bezel for this model of Rolex.

With this knowledge should I walk away from purchasing the watch? I have no intention of ever taking it in water. ...How serious a problem is his???

Thank you
