Congrats mate... well done on a beautiful piece!

And you are so right about the craziness of the sports Nautilus right now... I too am enjoying wearing my good old AC’s Pateks and loving them again.

Thanks , we the WIS are the ones that know where the beauty of patek is , certainly not in sport watches. All we have to be is be aware of the market but don’t let make the market be the one that dictates our purchases, just let it be a factor.

Cheers

I have a platinum class ring and was amazed at the weight of it, problem is the ring always falls to the side of my finger because it is top heavy (signet ring).
Do people find the same with a platinum watch on a lighter leather strap?
Also, doesn't the relatively soft platinum get dinged up pretty easily?
Thx!

BTW...gorgeous watch!!!
Love my 5205G blue dial....sublime.

^^ not sure about the statement "relatively soft". On the Mohrs scale its harder than gold, silver and similar to steel. However other metals are added to both as well which will increase the hardness

Weirdly my platinum ring band flattened out to conform with the shape of my finger...never had a ring do that before...I just figured it was more pliable than gold.

Ha! Change is fun but would be hard to let go of that one me thinks! Fun to change vicariously through Jin & George. My hero Nina though seems to acquire many beauties and keeps them- fun too. I can’t think of a reason in the world why a person would ever have more than, say, 20 timepieces. Ha! :-)))
