Icon7 New "shoes" for my 5524

We were in London and I visited Jean Rousseau Watch Strap Store on Picadilly.

After being told it would take 5 weeks to get a custom strap for my 5524 my wife spotted a lonely strap of the exact color of the dial in a basket and wouldn't you know it, it had all the right dimensions.
Half an hour later I was sporting a new blue strap with stitching matching the color of the numbersl and I am really happy with it.
In my opinion these straps are of the same excellent quality as the original Patek straps.
Photos are always a bit of an issue, but let'IMG_2525.jpeg

IMG_2527.jpegs give this a shot.

Looks good. I have the RG version and here it is with the original strap and a charcoal strap that comes with the 5520 alarm.

Well done, sir!

JLC wants crazy money for their straps. I went after market and I’m very happy.

i think the charcoal strap would go with the 5524G as well. maybe in a while we shall realize that they are great watches after all. unfortunately 42mm is too big for me but i am still checking into 5520P after i saw it a week ago during the factory tour:::))))

Think you need a more interesting strap otherwise the flat dial just dulls out the whole watch.

Huge fan of Jean Rousseau - AP quoted me 12 weeks for a replacement strap - JR made me one in 2 weeks, and half the price - win win

Finally got mine onto a Jean Rousseau strap as well. Completely changes the look of the watch.
