This looks great!

I'm in the market for a Pepsi or Batman on a jubilee, but this is easily third on my list of what to buy next. Possibly a little bit easier to get, too.

Love it. One of the most perfect DJs there is in existence IMO. There's something wonderful about the classic proportions of the DJ36 and the clean dial of the 126234 vs. the 116234 or DJ41 blue dial. DJ41s proportions always seemed a bit off to me.

I'm still patiently waiting for mine in the exact same configuration. Been about 2 months of waiting already!

Want to get one for my wife but haven't seen it anywhere. Supposedly it's "rare" (but then again, a lot of models are )

Congratulations on the purchase! I tried the same watch with the smooth bezel and oyster bracelet a few weeks ago at my AD and it fit well on my 6.5 in wrists. Really had to resist the urge to buy it since I'm already on the wait list for a 114060.

Good move getting a classic with the fluted bezel on a jubilee. It’s perfect. I also have a 36mm DJ with a blue dial but I got one with a smooth bezel on an oyster. It’s a great watch but I wish I had gotten the combo you did. Great decision on your part. Well done.

So beautiful! The day Rolex releases a modern matte blue dial DJ is the day I sell my kidneys for sure haha

I'd be shocked if they didn't introduce a white dial option at Baselworld in the next few years. The original 6-digit Datejust models were produced for like 15 years and various dials came and went over that time. And you can get the 41mm DJ with a white baton dial.

I'd also be interested to hear if anyone has observed a difference in the blue dials. I thought I read a comment somewhere where someone said the DJ41 blue was nicer than the blue on the older Datejust models. However, to me they look more or less the same in pictures.

This is kind of counter-intuitive. Is it that the slimmer case makes the dial seem (relatively) larger? I actually think the batons on the new dials look larger and because of that they make the dial look a little smaller than the 116234/116200 dials.

The new 126234 DJ is fabulous, especially in blue. The 36mm size definitely looks bigger on the wrist with its subtle case and dial re-design, as Fred notes above. I'm mostly a vintage Rolex lover, but this version is classic and timeless, with an old-school feel.

Took me a while to find this one. I think the blue-dial versions are scarce, or at least don't stay long in AD cases.

The 36 DJ is perfect on most people. I think the trend of larger watches is fading. Hope Rolex catches on and offers more non-jeweled dials in the 36mm size for the DJ and the DD.

I think the blue dial looks better in person than in a picture! It’s a stunning watch that has classic looks! I have the same watch but with a white dial and have been thinking on changing to the blue dial!

Congrats !!!!

Really nice. I had an earlier version of the same watch (1977 purchase) for about 30 years. Loved it.

I love the DJ in 36. It's the only Rolex watch I'd wear in that size.

I got the DJ41 Blue and that dial changes from dark to light depending on the lighting. Nice choice, enjoy..

You're so right about it being comfortable, I had a Dj41 which wasn't as comfortable.
