Great story!
So how does the SD43 differ from the SD4K?
How is the SD4K better or worse?
Thank you for the post.

Holiday shopping: Done!

Well executed, sir. I love when these stories of persistence pay off. Enjoy your new timepieces. And try to spend a little time with the family where you’re not looking at the watch on your wrist. ;-)

Congrats!

I have nothing but good things to say about the SD43. Unfortunately, with my wrist, it just wears too big for my taste. The biggest difference between the two, aesthetics aside, is how they wear due to the the lug to lug length difference. I would argue the SD43 being longer has a bit better balance since they spread out the weight but the SD4k wears better on my wrist and I feel is a bit more versatile with the smaller size and no cyclops. The SD43 I felt fine wearing on weekends but it just felt a bit off to me wearing in the office.

May I ask whether you paid retail for the sd4k? I recently picked one up at a AD and they sold it to be above retail in the states.

I paid $10,400 and not a cent more, which is MSRP. These guys were class acts all around.

Where the heck was this AD? In the enchanted Forrest?

I wonder what he makes his living selling? Maybe his clientele just don’t buy Rolex sports watches? No wait list etc etc?
