Hi,
I want to buy a 5168G, what do you think about the watch?
How is the size?
How is the blue dial?
has anybody this piece in his collection?

Thanks very much

It’s a great watch regardless of the price. It’s a bit heavier than 5167, but it’s within the comfortable range. It’s 42 vs 40 of 5167. The blue dial is stunning. I don’t have 5711 or 5712, but I would say the dial is at the same level of AP jumbo! Having said this, however, you have to pay over 10k pounds premium just for this blue dial as it has the same movement of 5167. I would suggest to go for 5167 unless you are like me whose favourite colour is blue.

Actually I have a 116506,5711A,5711R and a 5170P....
I want to change something because the rose gold watch i cannot wear at work...
And the simple 5711A is a nice watch but very boring, is there somebody who can understand me?

Go for 5712 or the aquanaut with chrono, you will get bored with 5168 to be honest

Got mine on Saturday and I think it’s welll worth the premium even on the secondary market over the 5167. White gold case and blue dial are perfection. The size and weight are also more substantial than your typical Patek.

Like the AP 15400, it is good for larger wrists as it wears bigger and more bulbous than the 67 and the 15202.

I'd sell the 5711 for the 12, esp as you have the lovely RG.

Not a fan of the 68. Big like a hockey puck with a non descriptive blue dial.
If you like it ,though, go for it!!!!

I really like my 5168, but I wouldnt trade my platinum Daytona for it. If I had to choose one aquanaut, I’d recommend the 5164.

Love the 5168G, size is a bit big wish it was 40mm still but it's awesome! I want one too.

I love my 5168. Wears very different to the 5167, much heavier and the blue is amazing. Much more wrist presence, and that works well with the rubber strap imo. With an integrated bracelet, it would be too big.

5167 just feels a bit too light on the rubber, and it doesn’t feel like a “substantial” watch. But If you can get it at retail, best value of the Patek sport watches imo.

A small issue I have with the Aqua is the clasp. Too bulky. Makes it hard to wear with a shirt. Much prefer the clasp of the 5711.
