Icon20 GMT 1675 Root Beer: Thoughts?

Hi -
I'm a newbie to watch collection and I just love the beauty & history of Rolex vintage watches. This GMT 1675 root beer caught my eye and I'm trying to get an original full set (aka avoid franken rolex). The aging color of the bezel is really nice... something that only comes with a vintage.

I've been trying to do as much research as I can and it's getting overwhelming.

Would appreciate if the experts on this forum can take a look and let me know if it's worth pursuing!

Thanks!!

Details below from the online dealer I found (goverberg watches). I can't post the link since I'm new... :(

That watch looks ok, but no pristine, the case and bezel exhibit a modest amount of polishing, which is common. Incredibly, the asking price reflects a 100% premium over FMV for the box and papers. The two-tone RB models are much less desirable than the SS Pepsi and several decent examples have popped up on eBay recently, so we have a reasonable calibration on price. A good example with an oyster bracelet recently sold for $8,300, and there is a current auction (jubilee bracelet) with a starting bid of $7800, and no bidders. Personally, I don't think the box and papers add more than $8k to the value.

I'm not being judgmental, since I actually own one of these (jubilee, no B&P), so I wish they were more valuable, but they're just not. Most people don't like two-tone sports models. If I sold mine, I would be happy to get $8k.
