Question about DJ 1601

Hi there, just want some insite. I’ve read somewhere that with the 1601 DJ Rolex Made some dials with no lumes, but on a TswissT dial.

Is this true what I read.

Any insight would be great

They were called dress dials. Both the dial and hands were lume free but still marked T Swiss T because Rolex.

mine was the same apart from the bezel (yours is a 1603 I think?)

It's a 1601 with a 1603 bezel.

I swapped the bezel when I put the non-cyclops crystal on it, because I like the 'machine turned' bezel better than the white gold fluted one. When I sold the watch I included the original bezel in the deal.

Thanks for clearing that up, I was a little worried that mine didn’t have any lume plots, but also wondered because it looked like it had never had.

I just need to get the right hands, mines had service hands put on.

Any suggestions on where to get hands?

Those are going to be hard to find. You could run a WTB (want to buy) on the various Rolex fora, might get lucky.
