Comparitive video review - Explorer ii 16570

Somehow the humble 16570 has become quite the darling. I've got a holes-case, SEL version, as well as a couple of similarly priced "cousins" so I thought I'd walk through some of the points I don't often see discussed, as well as a do a short comparison.

Have a look and leave comments to let me know what you think!

Thanks, TRF!

Excellent review. Surprised that this has not attracted more attention. I have been doing research on the Explorer II and specifically looking at any information I could find on the 16570 as I like the 40 mm vs the newer 42mm. Thanks for the information and the well done video.

Thanks a lot for this excellent information. I have just recently decided that this watch is my grail watch and I’m researching to find out as much as I can as it is a pretty big investment for me. Your review certainly is encouraging, which I need as it going to take two or three years plus selling half of my current collection to get the Explorer.
