It’s not “him” but his account was compromised.

Same here. Just rec'd the email shortly ago after a request via PM to send an email regarding a watch I have listed.
PM came yesterday from this user Mxrider447 which I just noticed has been banned since last night. Nonsense never ends.
Email from the same address that has been quoted above (bmott745@gmail.com) said:

"Hi,
Thanks for your email. I am located in California and you?. How do you handle payment and shipping, Buying the watch for my birthday
I am ready to proceed with payment and shipping.
Btw Will you be interested in trades, See below for my collections

Thanks"

Good job mods

Bill Mott bmott745@gmail.com is trying to scam me as well, trying to steal my log-in creds.

Also just got the birthday scam email from Billy Boy. Looks like his Mx handle was banned.

Glad this thread was here to confirm my suspicions!

Just a heads up it is happening on eBay as well. In the last week, I’ve had two long-time accounts with perfect feedback attempt to purchase high dollar electronics with stolen credit cards. It appears scammers are hijacking established accounts. The tell is when they demand to submit their own shipping label.
