I hope the judge is fair....she seems quick to exclude Depps witness and slow to exclude Heard's 'girlfriend'.
So many YT videos about this case all 100% pro Jonny Depp.
Depp has no history of violence towards women and he has had a number of relationships prior to Heard.
One can't help but think she was staging and video recording events for a big pay day.
Apparently, after separation Heard's lawyers sent a letter to Depp demanding a massive settlement including 3 luxury properties.
Heard ultimately settled the divorce and was paid $7million which she said she would pay to charity, but to date not a cent of that has gone to charity.
Really annoying to see Depp chewing in the witness box, any lawyer with 1/2 a brain would have told him not to do that. Little things like that make me question whether Depps lawyers know what they are doing.
I've seen judges before rip a new one for a witness chewing in Court. Seems this doesn't apply in some Courts.

There is a video going around that has takes from him answering questions on the stand and it is absolutely hilarious. He is just toying with the lawyer who was fumbling around with his words. Dude definitely has some wit!

I'll check it out but after having it on in the background Wed and TH, I suspect I've seen a lot of these moments. He had the whole courtroom laughing and chuckling at times, even the judge and Amber's own lawyer! The only one not chuckling was Amber. She maintains that same stoic face the entire time. I suppose if I were personally being sued for $50million I wouldn't be laughing, either.

On a few occasions, as the proceedings were going to recess, you could see a court bailiff and/or deputies laughing and palling around with him, too.

So here's the big question ~ Who will play Depp in the upcoming HBO series about the trial? (you know there'll be one)

Depp should play himself in the upcoming HBO mini-series covering the trial.

Crazy toxic relationship.

I think I’d have to say the lawyers will definitely be the winners after it’s all said and done.

I don't know. He strikes me as a method actor and he may not want to cut off another fingertip.

From the clips I've seen, I'd say it's a lose-lose deal. I guess everyone sees what they want to see.

Agreed. I think defamation is pretty difficult to prove when it’s a two way street

I really wonder what Depp was thinking bringing this suit? Did he really think he’d be awarded damages?

Steve on your statement of whether Depps lawyers know what they are doing I also wondered the same thing. I hate to admit I have been watching it a fair amount. Just something to play in the background while sitting at my desk

But anyway from what I can tell all the attorneys involved it doesnt appear that this is there bag or primary area of expertise. I'd imagine its because all of the the so called celebrity attorneys are not licensed in Virginia of all places. Thoughts?

Anyway as to the trial Johnny has to obviously think he's far and above innocent to expose himself like this again being he lost the UK trial. I mean I would hate to think he's crazy/dumb enough to expose all his troubles and plus know he's guilty. No way in the world I'd let all my dirty laundry be exposed to the world "again" and also know that I did in fact do everything accused of.

To be sure she's getting on the stand soon

He needs his name cleared in the eyes of the public.

The problem is, he doesn't actually come out with a good look...

Once you decide to air your dirty laundry it gets messy. Id be surprised he comes out of this with a better public image
