Any places to pick up creed aventus that won’t break the bank?

Any deals or sales on this? Or any retailers that offer better pricing ?

Trustpilot suggests not.

With Creed, I prefer to buy direct from a department store at full price just to know it is authentic. Expensive but worth it, IMHO.

I'm not sure how they work with Creed, but I suspect it's more grey market with them. They are definitely a legitimate company overall though.

It was odd at first buying decants off random people on Reddit, but the top sellers have solid reputations.

You don’t want discount fragrance.
It’s typically older and loses its characteristics over time.

Just like Creed Aventus

Vegan | Cruelty-free | Clean ingredients

Musky Oakmoss initially captures our attention with its clean, fresh burst of energy. After some time, it beings to take a turn into the most exclusive perfume writing structure: the Chypre (a blend of bergamot, rose, oakmoss, and patchouli). To end, the scent fades with a soft, subtle musk-infused undertone that’s guaranteed to leave you, and her ;), wanting more.

Fresh, refined, and pleasantly surprising, Musky Oakmoss has a kind of British phlegm, hiding high sophistication under a casual appearance.

I’d go to a boutique if I could. We have a local store that claims to be a dealer… but per the people I spoke to at Creed…… nope! Not even close. So stick with legit if you can.

Super Faked! There’s a whole rabbit hole involving batches/batch #’s… the pre Anniversaries smell different than the new ones because of the banning of some chemicals used before. Every manufacturer that used such was effected.

No deals out there that sell legit Creed out there, maybe some expired stuff that loses its scent quickly.

I bit the bullet and bought the large carafe of it so I could refill my empty bottles. That helped lower the price somewhat for me.

Creed has whats called host pricing meaning that their authorized retailers cant sell below X price or they will lose their authorized retailer status. The discounted Creed is usually either fake or expired. Once expired it loses most of its staying power along with some of it aromas.

Well not exactly true. Many vintage collectors would argue that fact. Some of the most sought after and expensive batches are way past “expiry”. Just the same as Rolex there is a thriving Grey market of authentic product. I know a grey that buys stock from a high end Canadian Department Store. I’m sure it’s the same in the US.

One of the few items that I buy at full price at Neiman Marcus. Once hooked it is tough to go away from the brand.

I guess it’s the same as people who enjoy 50 year old wine which has oxidized and essentially turned to tawny, on the verge of being vinegar

I do this frequently. Buy the seller as we say.

Honestly.... No idea! Lots of opinions.

Some say notes either are stronger or weaker through batches. Some like the "Pineapple" notes in a couple batches because of the perceived strength. Some of those batch decants I've seen for $600 for 10ml.... Some are Muskier or Woodier or Fruitier than others.... again in peoples opinions. To me there are way too many variables to do a Pineapples to Pineapples comparison of batches. Eg. Age/Storage/Skin Type/Application/Environment ....

Europe has some pretty strict Cosmetic ingredient laws and formulations have been evolved to adhere. Some say for better and some for worse. Therefore the batches would/should smell slightly different. Like all businesses they are constantly trying to formulate for costing. Creed does a pretty good job except for when they dropped the 125ml bottles to 100ml and the price stayed the same like no one would notice.

So I'll defer to the experts, but would assume Sak's Fifth website doesn't have any issues like Walmart re-sellers, noticed Aventus on sale there right now.
