Your Help appreciated! 16700 Pepsi bezel insert

Hi folks: i’m looking for a period correct Pepsi bezel for my 1992, X-serial, t-25, 16700. I would greatly appreciate your help whether:

1. This bezel is authentic; and
2. It’s period correct for 1991-2

To give you something to reference, My blue backed bezel insert is original and correct for my S serial 1993 16700

Additionally, search old threads by JP (springer), who has forgotten more than i know about GMTs

I consider this insert correct for the 1980s through early 1990s sapphire models.

Thank you so much for the helping guidance. I see the thick numerals, but can’t tell from your picture, is that serif on the 4, for example?

It’s an authentic Rolex serif insert and period correct for your watch.

The ebay insert from your link has a few serifs and the insert from my photos do not have serifs. I do not consider the serif bezel insert correct for a circa 1991 GMT 16700.

Thank you very much jP. My current bezel (pictured below), which is service replacement, likewise has no serif. Since neither has serif, am I correct in noting the differences are:
1. A flat “4”.
2. Longer bases on the numeral “2’s” in “22”.
3. The top loop on the “8” is a tad bigger?

Are there other differences?

Greatly Appreciate the knowledge!

Greg, I believe if you study the photos I emailed you and posted here, they are rather self explanatory.

I don't really see the flat 4s or longer base on the 22 - at least that is not how I would describe the insert. Also, on the pics I posted, the 8 is slightly smaller on the top as you mentioned. The later service inserts have a smaller top yet on the 8, much like the smaller head found on a "snowman." For me, the best way to describe the insert would be to study the pics.

I definitely closely examined them but looks like I was seeing faux things (Tho I did pick up on the “8”)! Will revert to the pics. Thank you for the insights!
