Incoming:Avenger joins Blackbird

Hi all.Over the top again to receive another watch. Pulled the trigger on another Breitling to join Circa 2003 40mmBlackbird.
This time went to a Breitling boutique in Melbourne and bought brand new. The rep was good enough to supply genuine Anthracite leather military style strap with yellow underside which matches watch sundial and chrono seconds hand.also supplied fold over buckle and a nice Breitling hat. Its a big beefy watch weighing in at nearly 1/4 kilo.240grams.
It's a great day. Still have to adjust bracelet
Reference Number A13317101B1A1
Avenger Chronograph 45
Bracelet with black face dial
45mm case
16.4 mm thickness
240grams
Breitling has become my favourite brand.
Cheers to All.from Australia

Very nice, congrats! You've got an excellent duo there. The question now becomes which one will get the most wrist time. Enjoy in good health.

Re which one to wear?

RW16610
Blackbird is not as bulky ,therefore will remain
my daily.less chance of accidently hitting obstacles, doorways etc.
I do like changing my watches around though and treat them like an accessory to suit my lifestyle..At this stage Blackbird still the trusted elder lol.

That makes perfect sense to me! In your shoes I would do the exact same. The Blackbird for sure sounds like the go to for all settings, the ultimate with regards to versatility.

Having something else to mix it up a bit creates the perfect situation.

I just bought a second hand Blackbird from 2004 and I absolutely adore it. Perfect from all angles, bracelet is a dream and the brushed surface is so delicious. I can totally understand why you like it so much. Congrats on the Avenger. I'm looking for one from 2004-2007

Congratulations on your Blackbird purchase.im sure that you will agree the detail and finish is gorgeous on those watches.the faceted bracelet is truly unique and super comfortable .moulds around your wrist..date wheel font and sword like sub dial hands are a step above.
The crown and chronograph pushers are majestic.

Let’s not forget that awesome rehaut/chapter ring (whatever you call it) stepped with two surfaces, one with a tachometer and one a decimal scale. I wish the Avenger had that. Such a subtle cool feature.
