I don’t care about the “uncertainty”. I want what i want because i want to wear it. But from AD only though :)

Having earned my gray hair, I’ll call it distinguished and be proud.

But personally, I wouldn’t be proud of paying gray watch prices.

Waiting for one, and will just wait.

To each their own.

Only from an AD. I did just buy one as a mother's day present. But never thought I'd see a day where I'd be happy to just pay mrsp for a tt dj.

I bought a DJ41 last year in the Uk from a grey. I live in Seoul and the ADs will not even let me in the door. So I am done until the craziness stops, if it does not stop I am happy with the one I have.

No plans to purchase any more at least for now. Over the past three decades I have had all the references that I wanted especially when my current AD sells for market price only. I will continue to acquire other manufacturer's pieces from time to time.

Still in the market but will only buy from my Local family AD.

Im not playing games going to multiple places, whether that gets me the watch i want or not who knows, but im a patient person and have other nice watches to wear.

In terms of the economy ive got enough savings to last me 12 months without work, if i didnt have that then i wouldnt be buying watches costing £6000 in times like this....trying to be financially responsible n all that.

My situation is the one option not available on the poll - ONLY buying from greys. And the reason for that is because I don't want any of the current models, and am just after 2 (possibly 3) discontinued models, so going grey is my only option.

(That said, all the time I wanted current models, I only ever purchased from ADs)

My Rolex wish list is confined to one particular model variant. I'm on my AD's wait list and when my turn comes I will get the call. Weeks, months, years, it doesn't matter. The money is set aside, all I have to do is wait and enjoy what I already have, which is not difficult.

In the unlikely event that unworn, OEM stickered, second hand stock comes down to MSRP or below, I will walk into one of my trusted grey dealers. I think this very unlikely for the watch I want.

Bought my first from a secondary dealer. I'd like an OP, but I'd only buy it from an AD and only in new condition, as OP prices are so inflated elsewhere.

I’ve managed a Yacht Master from Rolex AD this year and a Seamaster from Omega. Still waiting for a Sea Dweller from AD.

I never buy from an AD, had a bad experience buying from my local AD, selling higher than I expected, I ended up getting from a private collector which was way cheaper.

So many sheep.
It doesn’t matter when you buy, so long as you buy at right price.

What increased uncertainty in the Rolex market?! Do you want the watch, or do you buy it just for an increase in value?!

I just hope that this individual speculators/flippers get washed out of this market! I prefer any grey than the little "no haves" who just wanna make some $$$ - they dont deserve any Rolex - in the opposite they destroy the brand with their behavior and attitudes!!!!

I only buy from AD.

Never have and never will play $0.01 more than retail.

Plenty of fish out there. Rolex is not the only (watch) game in town.

AD only so far, the thrill of the chase, principle and price, now if grey prices were close or same to AD prices then trusted grey would be an option

Grey Only , I’m not waiting around at The stuffy AD for them to bless me so I can be in their inner circle lottery list. If I see something I want I buy it. In 10-20 years I’m probably dead anyway. If I’m hungry today. I’m going to eat today . It’s better to burn out than to fade away ,, ☠️

Have 0 faith in getting anything Rolex, PP, AP from ad's so I buy gray when it suits me.
And I don't see that changing any time soon.

Always from the AD, unless the timepiece has been discontinued, then from a reseller.
