Audemars Piguet 26331ST Panda Discontinued?

Out of the blue, grey market have a sudden spike on 26331 panda dial to closed to 100k, I am wondering what was the reason to cause this sudden movement?

Is the model still available or it has been discontinued?

From the website, it seems to be available.

Anyone have any insights?

I guess grays are speculating it will be discon as it doesnt make sense to have it same price as the newer 26240st. If it gets discon, the only 41mm left in pandal dial is the one in full white gold 26240bc which cost more than double. I love blue dials but there will always be different shades of blue for 3 handles and complications. But panda is a panda. Only chrono has it and its unique.

I feel the 26331 Panda was the nicest of the bunch and classic in design. Everyone clamored for the blue but the Panda was the sleeper that I hope gets its due recognition now.

I believe I saw a frosted panda on the AP website with the new complication.

Interestingly, seeing the frosted WG Panda, it seemed to me that the Panda layout works better with the older, smaller movement. With the new one, the Panda "eyes" seem unnaturally far apart. That's also why I like the non-color contrast subdials on the new steel chronos a lot.

This is such a bummer. This has been my grail piece for years. Hope another (non frosted) version comes out. Time to schedule an appointment with the boutique to update my list...

I completely agree. The new model with contrasting dials looks like bumblebee. Something about the spacing...

It’ll probably come back, just look at the color changes over the past decade leading up to 26331

I love the watch; it's a keeper even if they trade anywhere near those asks.

Discontinued is the key for sudden increase in secondary price. Whoever owns it, this is a keeper.

I would agree, but to me, as they're very similar anyway, the nicest panda dial in 41mm was the Pride of Italy, with the blue subdials, and more special as it's a limited edition of 500 pieces.

The blue panda APs are my all-time favorite AP on the wrist, especially the 38mm version. Congrats to those who got one, it's a timeless piece.
