Not going grey with this model. So yeah I'll continue to visit my AD on a regular basis. Who knows I might get an earlier allocation :P

Maybe try to shake some trees first to see if any dealer holding the watch needs liquidity and might make a sane deal before deciding to reconfigure the collection? If they are willing to deal, I might be inclined to make more rash decisions. If they are still holding firm then I’d try to enjoy the honey moon longer before spoiling with a new distraction.

Amazing collection regardless of your decision!
Thanks and excellent advice!

Yes I do. Sorry I wasn't being clear and specific. Given the fact I'm no whale or top spender or Super VIP (We're talking millions), it is almost an open secret that you'll need to bundle buy to get the hot items. (At least with my AD) And the amount you need to bundle is based on market price of the watch you desire. Hence the hotter the market the more i need to pay which is something I don't want to see.

Just do it, you will not look back…all of your life problems will be solved with this one purchase In all seriousness, they nailed it on this one.

Agree with you 100%. You got it right. They really nailed it with this one.

I see. I was lucky that I have my name down back in 2020 when the 5740 was not exactly hot. I cannot imagine what bundle it would have been to get a 5740 now. I recently heard of a bundle for just a 5167a which shocked me out of my chair.

If you do not mind me asking, is your AD consistently getting two 5740s per year? Or was 2021 just an outlier? If he can get two per year, must be a really large AD.

I think the large city ADs get two a year. But the competition is tough... When I first saw it in 2018, my AD told me it was easier to allocate a 5711 vs 5740 just becasue of demand (and they get 3 5711 vs 2 5740)

3 5711s…. It was so different then.

Too bad my AD is smaller, he said he gets one per year and there is just one more customer ahead of me in the queue. At the same time he kept saying that you never know as I can get lucky.
