10% is effectively msrp + tax. not sure why you didn't do that then when it was going in the low 40s

There was a beautiful time when GMTs were 6/7k and most PM watches were 23-30k. Miss it. Was also an awesome time to be part of this forum. I had an account dating back to 2010 before a certain dealer scammed my account and I had to generate a new one. You know who you are!

They’re still available, but most ADs are only allocated 1-2 a year, if that. Hard to obtain if there is multiple folks in front of you waiting.

I picked up mine early 2020 before this reference got scooped up by the hype.

I was strongly considering the full gold/green dial GMT a couple years ago at 22k. I didn't buy because I figured it was prime to drop into the teens. LOL

Been on the wait list for 1 year for this watch.

Spoke to my ad again yesterday about it. She said they are expecting to receive only a few this year but haven’t gotten a single one so far for 2022.

I had my chocolate dial swap to olive last fall
Maybe that’s still an option?

It’s not, no more dial swaps permitted. Only dial exchanges allowed now if you’re swapping your existing olive in the case of being damaged. (GF works at the RSC).

Or the full rose GMT? Where would they all rank?

‘Hard to get’ is subjective.

Random Joe walks in off the street - yes

Regular customer, known to AD for many years big spend history - probably not so hard

You can’t generalise about how hard or not any reference is.

It’s going to be different for everyone depending on your relationship with the AD

If you’re spending 25k to get a piece at retail doesn’t it make sense at that point to just to go grey and not waste the time. I don’t get this.

Get me to 45k and you have my attention. Least expensive on Chrono right now is 72k. This is inline with your estimates.

I went grey last month on it! Didn’t care bc I wanted it and I was able to sell one of my safe queens at a great price (which that piece is down in peice with the rest of them), so who cares!
