Hi All
Between the Black Sub Date & the Green Bezel Cermit/Starbucks, which one would you go for & why? |

Hey Jonathan (great name) -
If it was a single watch, I would go for the Sub Date LN. If it was part of a collection, I would go for the LV. |

I prefer the utilitarian nature of the LN….black goes with everything

This. However, if you have a few others and they are all non-black dials or have a coloured bezel, then an LN is appropriate. Good luck!

No appeal for a Green bezel, or dial for that matter to me. Each to their own though I tend to stick to monochrome largely. I like to dress to match my watch and Green just fit anywhere for me.

…I’ve tried both of these on and the LN variant looked ‘better’. (this is coming from someone who has both the kermit and hulk).

If it was a small collection I’d go LN but if it’s larger (say 5 or so plus) then I’d go lv. But I can’t afford any more atm so

I think the 126610LV is a handsome watch. It is a logical and successful update of the original 16610LV. I would own one if the 116610LV didn't exist.
Too much green for some. Not for me. |

LV. I love the addition of a little color. Makes it more interesting to me and no problem wearing it with any and everything.

Tough call.
Sub Date is great, but everyone has one. The LV 12 series is not as good as Hulk. |

Both great watches. I would go with whichever speaks to you more. For me it’s the green.

Agreed! I love both, but, I like the bit of color, as 99% of subs I see in the wild are black dials/bezel. Also Agee with the thought of ….if only one watch to wear, I’d go LN. I have been wearing my LV 5/6 times a week lately, it goes great with my simple/casual attire. Jeans and t-shirts.

Black Submariner Date. I prefer the ND version.
