Nice. I don’t get the flat four nonsense though, in terms of pricing. It’s insanity. It’s the same reference. Can anyone enlighten me?

It's just that the bezel with the Flat 4 was only made a little over a year and closely aligns to what collectors consider to be true anniversary models. Meaning the watch was probably made in 2003 or very nearly. So though the watch was made for several years, that bezel appeared in a much smaller percentage of the watches, and it marks the true first year. So rarer (relative term) + first year = much more money. I personally know a dealer who got 40K for a NOS unworn Flat 4 end of last year. Wow. That's crazy, even to me. Heh.

I have been thinking of adding a V (doesn't that one have the more neon colored bezel?) as well! I love it!

Do prices vary for all the different versions?
Definitely think this will be a collectors piece even more so in the future, and am wondering what the ballpark figure for one of these would be.

Still none the wiser what Mk dial this is, doesn’t tie up with any available info.
I’ve seen several with this configuration and all F3 serials. Go figure.
That being said, the info available is outdated.

Yeah, it's a great resource. My Kermit went to RSC Dallas today for service so I will only have pictures for a good while.

From that source:

The earliest known so far begin ‘Y94’ so very few were produced before the serial numbers changed to ‘F’ but ‘Fat Four’ examples with serial numbers below F54 are the grail watches of the LV family.

When I read that it makes me even more sick about the one I had stolen.
I've still got the papers for it.
