My MGB is still alive and kicking...somehow...probably because there's nothing electrical unlike today when random electrical gremlins creep into a vehicle and you're outta luck if you don't have a diag system lying around.

The waiting list for that car here is just horrible. Last time I checked it was like 6-8 months.

Damn hot car though. Give me one in gunmetal grey and I'm a happy boy

Absolutely right, thats one of the classic BMW engines, the V8 4.4.Eight years in production ...

The 4.4 V8,the straight sixes and the 3.0 turbodiesel .... some of the best engines around.

Nope, I am not game - if I did I'd want one and thats not good. I'll stick to my luke warm GTI, cos compared to the new one thats exactly what it is!! But I am happy wiht mine.... it's a nice ride.

I think the waiting list is slowing down tho now.... I saw numerous demo and 1yr old GTIs for sale when I was buying mine, so if you really want one they are out there. I cant justify $45k+ on a car when I only do about 6000kms per year in it.

Volvo are awesome cars and very reliable. I had a 240 Turbo once. The model I loved was the Bertone Volvo design. It had nice edge design. Sometimes it was mistaken for a Maserati!

JJ, your Lantis has a very close resemblance to the Ford Mondeo.

The Volvo was purchased as a "quick fix" after my beloved New Beetle was repo'd.

It's been a constant disappointment and I hope to replace it with a boring, but reliable Toyota or even a <gasp!> Chevrolet as soon as I have the money.
