$2m starting bid if one ever surfaces on the secondary market?
The problem is, with that dial, IT LOOK'S 5HIT!!!

I will agree, nothing special about the back after seeing it.... but it's cool to see a unique Tiffany Patek, rather than just a stamp on the dial 'Tiffany & Co' for a standard production 5711... Hope it gets worn by those who bought one.

My first reaction was this is silly but it is a nice watch that is a lot prettier than 5711 green in my eyes.

The downside is the cheap looking engraving on the crystal back, just like on many other recent Patek limited editions. Who does that...

Looking around the internet, seems like people are upset Patek left possibly the rarest steel 5711 for three Tiffany Store VVIPs instead of Patek AD VVIPs. Unless those whales are already Tiffany VVIPs, otherwise they will now need to buy from the secondary market or bid at Philips, or splurge at Tiffany’s right away.

These will need to be both Tiffanys and PP VIP's. My sales person at Tiffanys has a client with 20million lifetime spend, but with limited PP buys. Not likely to get them the watch. Who gets one will come from both corporates.

It's a time/date basic watch with a branded color, but really, it's not that great. But...whoever gets one, congratulations on your lottery win!!!

This is the absolute ugliest watch I’ve ever seen in my life. It’s comically ugly and cheapens the entire Nautilus model line in my opinion. The gall of Patek to say they transcend hype and that they don’t want one model to define the brand, and they offer THIS??!! Good God, the hypocrisy…

I don’t say that to be a hater, either. That’s my general reaction to it and I have no hatred towards the brand. The only thing this has done for me is look objectively and say I’m thankful I never chased Nautilus rainbows on the secondary market.

You know what would be cool? If Stern would stop doing Hublot editions.

Definitely JM and Ben.

Mark doesn't do Tiffany much, but I suspect if he wanted to pull a string with Stern he could get one. He's a huge supporter of the brand. Much more than JM and Ben, to be honest.

I have to agree with the minority opinion on this one. I think it looks rather effeminate, tacky and touristy. But as they say, to each their own.

I was waiting for someone to jump in and actually mention the elephant in the room.

THE DIAL IS HIDEOUS!

The hands, indexes, and date border should have been in traditional white gold or platinum. Doesn't look classy or elegant with the blackened gold indexes. Rolex did a better job with the Oyster Perpetual turquoise blue dial.

I completely agree…It’s comically ugly. Looking objectively at the watch and keeping secondary values aside, I’d pick the Rolex OP every day of the week and twice on Sunday. It’s not even remotely a difficult decision.

My guess is they will probably come out with a 5811 with revised case size or something. No way Nautilus goes away forever.

The rumor was that it'll be called a 6711.

As a LVMH collector, this is the only Patek worthy of joining the collection. LOL
