Perpetual calendar service turnaround times?
Wondering what your recent experience has been for normal servicing of a modern perpetual calendar, or what you think should be expected. Thank you.

My experience was from the summer of 2020...
Sent in my 3940 (from ATL too) and had it back in a few months (less than 3 if I recall) October time frame. Reading stories on line I expected a minimum of 6 to 12 months. Nonsense. But that was then.

Timing will likely depend on local Patek facilities as most distributors are set up to service up to and including perpetual level. Rattrapante, minute repeater, instantaneous perpetual, tourbillon etc etc goes back to Geneva.

Just sent in 5270.
Quoted 10-12 weeks. I think it depends on the region and it’s capacity vs demand. |

Patek 5059 sent in pre-Covid b/c leap-year indicator didn't change with New Year. Sent to Geneva. Took over 5 months - had full servicing & came back looking & working like brand new!
