I did not adjust well the strap, that’s true. Plus I had to take the picture under the desk to avoid glares from the artificial lights above me. Tricky shot :-)

As for getting it and history:
1. It’s not done, neither guarantee, but I have good faith
2. I am French and local (even if non living in Paris neither Paris area) and Patek Paris value that a lot
3. Purchase history is not huge and is even small, but let’s say that I am a faithful customer :-)
4. Patek is taking other factors into account as well

Thank you very much for sharing the pictures, and good luck with securing one!

Thanks makes sense if you are local and live in France. Good luck to you. Definitely a huge purchase if it happens

Green is amazing - must see it in person. Pictures dont do the justice.

Hey Uros,

An update as I've been able to handle it. As mentioned already, this green dial is stunning. Yes, green is different but it is so exciting to look at on such version (lacquered, gradated, white markings contrast).

You should definitely try it if you can.

You can have a look at a review here if needed: https://www.hightime-reviews.com/pat...-and-pictures/

Hi Vasco,

Many thanks. Exceptional review and great pictures from different angles. Was in Munich for a weekend but no luck seeing it.

Definitely must see in person. Have slight concern dial/color may be too flashy for continuous use as it wouldnt be safe queen watch...

My pleasure, yes it must be seen in person, especially for such watch. There seems to be several ADs with demonstration pieces from what we see on the forum. If you travel, maybe you can call a few, especially the 3 Salons (on appointment in Paris and there is also a Rare Handcrafts exhibition nearby if you're interested from the 14th to the 22nd of May, https://www.patek.com/fr/entreprise/...nat-2022-paris).

As for the "flashy" matter, I didn't feel it was flashy. However, because it is green, it is more visible because more "unusual". What would make the "flashy" part is more the shiny lacquer with the polished whole case. Nevertheless, the outer darker edge makes it a little more discreet than expected.

Unfortunately couldnt make it to Paris. Which is pity, seeing it in person would be great to end spending time on internet:)

Yes the dial of 5320g which is also lacquered I didnt like so much in person but the colour was also bright. Buying this piece is in at least in theory for the life so need to be careful.

Big thanks for comments.

Finally had the opportunity to try on the 5270P and the 5231G (it was a 1-day event by the AD and these 2 watches are loaned from Patek agent for 1 day only).

I seldom spend long time at the store trying on watches but for this instance I was there for more than 1 hour playing with both the 5270P and 5231G. The gradient emerald green dial of the 5270P is absolutely stunning. Lights reflect beautifully on the green dial and I thought this layout of the 5270 (gen 1) suits the emerald dial perfectly. The darker green on the outer dial seems to balance the watch visually despite the gen 1 layout in my view.

The colours on the enamel 5231G are so rich and the dial is so painfully breathtaking. This is one of the best enamel works I have seen thus far. The pic doesn't do this watch justice. This is a great day horologically.

Lots of pictures of the 5270P-014 online, but none of them are taken under the sun. The dial really comes out under the California sun!

Wow big congrats! One of the best pictures to catch green dial in light.

Any early impressions please share!

Initial reaction is that it offers a cleaner and sportier look compared to the previous 5270s without the tachymeter on the dial with less clutter.

If green is your color, then this is by far imho the prettiest green dial that Patek offers.
