I have a tudor 925 and I have a small ding on the lug. I was quite upset at first but I have now accepted the fact that the silver is a softer medal and it is going to happen more and more

Always always always - inspect the watch carefully in store. Once you leave the store, it's very hard to prove you are not at fault for cosmetic damage. You are presumed to have inspected the product - so do it!
