I'm excited to get a VTNR. And for the last time it can be worn on whatever wrist the wearer wants. It's left handed only with respect to the hand required to set the watch.

I support anyone that wants the watch! I just disagree, the date window on the left side of the watch was designed for the watch to be worn on the right wrist. But people can do whatever they want, wear it in the left, on their ankles, on their belt, etc. People have their opinions, but it is just that, opinions.

Kind of cool because it's different, but disturbing at the same time .

It wouldn't be so terrible if the date was on the correct side. Kind of sad they wasted those colors on that design.

This lefty agrees with Rt. wrist wearing. It would have been great to see it with no date or at the 6 o’clock position! But then more folks would want it based on unique color scheme.

Makes me laugh - they finally produce a destro for us righty wearers and all we see is people wearing it on their left wrist.

I don't understand why people are making an issue of the wrist it's worn on. I am a lefty and have always worn my watch on the left wrist.

I also don't understand the hate for this model... I like it, a lot. It just feels that the right handed people have had everything catered to them for so long, they expect everything to be.

Exactly. So they make a watch to be worn on the right hand and you object to it going in that right hand? The lead guy at Rolex is a lefty hence the likely reason this was produced? His influence likely? Right ?

For me it’s perfect for those what want to wear it on the right wrist, wearing it on the left wrist is a head scratcher for me.

I don't object to it being on either wrist. That is a personal preference. I have tried to wear my watch on the right wrist and it has never felt right to me.

What I don't understand, is all of the hate for something different. To each their own, I guess.

I personally don't like the AP Royal Oak... at all, but I don't hate on it and disparage those who like it.

VTNR - couple more IRL wrist pics

Got it, it’s doesn’t feel right. Totally understandable.
I applaud this model for lefties who wear their watches with dates and crowns on the right side (for right handed people) to finally have a Rolex watch what is designed to be worn on the right hand. That’s why the date is at 9 o’clock. To peak at it while barely pulling down your cuff. It’s a truly functional watch for them. But like Padi says this new watch is just $€. It is being scooped up by people who it was not intended for. Simple as that. That’s if we’re treating this as a tool watch. Obviously it’s a luxury item and you can buy whatever you want. But I’m pretty sure Rolex’s head guy meant it to by bought for the right hand like her wears them

I have been wearing a watch daily since I was 8 (1977) when I got my Texas Instruments Star Wars digital. It was probably my dad ( being a right handed person ) who told me I needed to wear it on my left wrist. I have worn on the left ever since. Never really gave it a second thought until a few years ago when I started receiving comments about wearing my watch wrong.

I find it an odd looking watch and don't really think a left handed watch is necessary and the date window position is off regardless.

For me it's all about the date window position throwing the whole thing off balance. The LHD Pelagos is one of my favourites from Tudor/Rolex, this GMT is perhaps my least favourite.

If it wasn’t for the text, I would think it was upside down. I literally look for the “Rolex” to orient my eyes. So weird.

And now for a shot on the 'right' wrist... I'm a very happy man.

It's not for me.

But IMO Rolex did a very good job on the green. (Unlike the BLRO which still looks pink/purple despite the popularity)

If you’re wearing this on your left hand, then you bought it for hype and not for the right reason.

The watch is meant for the right hand!

Damn it! Rolex has finally produced a watch for us lefties so we could wipe our buttocks with our good hand but we are getting denied by the rude majority who doesn't have a clue about our real world problems! Shame on them all!
