AP website prices removed

Just as I noticed Lange removed their prices from their website before increasing their prices by 10-20%, would this mean AP might increase their prices again?

Hm. "Price on Request" for everything on the US site. Not a good sign, I guess.

There have been quite significant movements in various exchange rates (mostly USD gaining). Maybe a combined price hike/regional adjustment. By now I'd be more surprised if they would forego the twice-annual increase.

Seeing the same. Prices were there yesterday.

Also. Quite a few pieces were moved to the ‘Legacy’ page

26239, 26521, 26331.

I uh...think currency adjustments only go in one direction, against your favor! Local currency drops, price increase. Local currency increases, price stays the same.

Not always. I remember when the euro came closer to the dollar like it is today the prices came down. Also when gold dropped significantly the prices came down. But then I remember them saying to me it wasn't because of gold but because of the euro so idk.

Pretty sure that did happen to AP in ~2013, they lowered prices on their gold pieces. I heard they did work with people that made a recent purchase (before the adjustment) to maintain relationships.

True! The USD leveled with CHF for the first time in many years. Cool that could mean a price drop for me haha

I've been told that the current 41mm's are being dc'd, with new 41's to be released very soon.

edit: to clarify, was told this re: metal banded models specifically

That makes sense. They moved the ROC already. Waiting to see if/when the rest go.

Interested to see the new UK pricing as it doesn't seem long ago since the last increase...

Prices are back on the website and I don't see changes at first glance. Lots of models though moved to the legacy section. I think last week they used to have around 260-ish and not it's 145. Big clean up and some of you pointed out it is mostly in RO and ROO.

Phew! But surely that's just a temporary reprieve.

Good to see that AP finally cleaned up their "current" collection page - that was a constant source of confusion.

ReMaster and Millenary are gone.

The 145 is made up of:
27 Code
82 RO
27 ROO
9 ROC

They also removed one of the steel QP RO.

Actually, in my current country of residence, prices are back and... for at least one... went down.

Nothing crazy. Minus €400 on a €90k piece. But still worth noting.
