Yea I wasn’t sure about it until I saw it. Now I firmly believe it’s better than the brown register version.

Epic addition sir and one of Rolex finest references. The baguettes on that ice blue dial = stunning!

Thanks all. After my first weekend with the watch I wanted to send some thoughts!

1. It's heft is certainly something I can get used to and I actually like.

2. When I'd come back to the watch in the morning and see it before putting it on, the colors struck me the same way each time. They really are something special. The Glacier blue dial and Chestnut brown bezel.... man on man it's so freaking good.

3. This is my first precious metals piece and after only a short time I can see why people take the plunge into these and don't look back. I LOVE my steel pieces, but this is just different.

Congrats!
I know that feeling well - it lasts a long, long time. My Platona wasn’t Diamond dial but it gives such a warm feeling.

I used to crush on the chocolate bezel version but ended up preferring this stunning configuration, wow. Good news is my wife gives green light on purchase if I get the Call. Bad news is she insists it live in a vault as investment, never to be worn ;-)

Congrats OP, it’s an absolute stunner! It’s one of the few Rolex on my list that I’ve been patiently waiting for. Hopefully this year… enjoy

Haha I feel you on that. My wife looked at me though after I put it on and said “you’re never going to sell that!” They say no one knows you better than your other half.

Congrats! It's a beauty. I never get tired of mine (non-baguettes), but do think about swapping for the fancy one once in a while.

Easily my favorite daytona. Congrats and enjoy the mesmerizing weight.

After strapping that on everything else seems light.
