I love mine. It is not a daily wear for me, but I can see it being one. The only thing I'm not sure I would pair it with is a tuxedo or black suit. Any other color, and pretty much anything casual, I think it goes just fine. In my opinion, the blue tends to tone down the "flashiness" factor of the two-tone. I think it looks awesome with a pair of jeans.

I don't think there's much chance you'd regret getting one.

By far one of the most beautiful watches I’ve owned!! Thankfully I bought this just before they were discontinued in summer 2021. I especially love the large case lugs and gold dial text the most!!

Nope, not being sarcastic, I don’t think I have ever seen a YG Sub in the flesh.

Okay. It is def worth the extra cost. Maybe it is even “on sale” now due to the softening of the overall market.

Over £30k?

I'd rather by the TT and two other pieces at £10k

(I want a Glashutte PanoMaticLunar and a white dial Zenith Chronomaster Sport)

My Bluesy

I love my Rolex Bluesy and it is my favorite. I have several other Rolexes but generally always default to wearing my Bluesy. I can wear it when just hanging out or to a business meeting. It is always appropriate.

I wear mine daily - grey suit and blue shirt brings out the colours amazingly. It does attract attention at the gym or while shopping but I don’t mind and it’s good to chat to people.

For black tie or more formal events it does look a little “off” so I wear my DJ41 with diamonds.

Thanks for sharing your opinions and your photos of your beautiful Bluesy's.
I am convinced I have made the right choice on my "wish-list" and will now await the call.

Yes and yes. The latter is why I sold it.

It's in the "kind of regret" column because it is so beautiful. But it was just too much for me.

Thank you very much for that. I mean, you wear your bluesy to the gym?

Yes always. I go to gym straight from work and it’s safer on my wrist then in the car or in the gym locker. Are you surprised because it can get nicked or because of damage? If the former - I can look after myself and it’s insured anyway so don’t care too much. If damage - I’ve worn it for over a year as well as other Rolexes or Swiss watches and never ever had a problem.

Man all these beautiful bluesy photos are not helping, been considering the bluesy a lot recently and its showyness is what’s been deterring me as I wear my watches all day everyday, but it’s a thing of beauty

Ok so I have owned it as a 116613 and a 126613 .. I loved the 41mm it’s an amazing watch and you’ll love it ..

It’s crazy because I have a strong collection with hyped models and we on the forums know a steel Daytona as so crazy and special etc… but when I wear bluesy it gets way more attention than Daytona … more than my day date40 !! Yellow gold with champagne dial at that !!

I got my 16613 in 1990 in the USVI, as my second Rolex after my 16800 (1982). I dove with both for over two decades, and alternated them as daily wearers. Still have both. Had a Rolex factory service on the bluesy in late '21, and came back looking as-new; almost too nice to wear now!

I love my Bluesy. It was on my wish list for close to 10 years. I finally bought one this year and love it. I work in a very conservative corporate office in midtown NYC and I wear it almost every time I'm in the office. It's flashy, but I don't think it's overpowering. I think it can be worn anywhere without hesitation. I can't recommend it enough. I love the new 41mm version with the white text on the dial.

I've had mine close to a year now. Worn it probably 4 or 5 times. Just too flashy for me. When I'm in the mood to wear a two tone, I take out the bluesy then I end up replacing it and going with the rootbeer. The rose gold for me is just more pleasing to wear out and about.
