Incoming Explorer 212470 MKII

After speaking to multiple ADs near me about trying to get a Pelagos FXD, I’ve quietly been eying this one for quite some time now. I’ve done business with a local grey dealer a few times now and I stop in every now and then to see what they have in stock. Well, I had a day off work and decided to stop by. This 214270 sung pretty loudly to me and I was sold as soon as I saw it in the flesh. It just so happened to be perfectly sized to my wrist already.

Thank you, that was one of the reasons I bought it as well. It’s got a lot to like about it and nothing I don’t.

P.S. Sorry for the reference number typo everyone. I know better than that. Please don’t flame me too hard.

Congratulations. I’m a huge fan of that watch. It’s so easy to wear. I have the MK I and am strongly considering a dial and hands change when it goes in for service at RSC.

I did exactly that. Cost around $500 not including service.

Congratulations, a great pickup.
I enjoy mine whenever I wear it, and would never part with it.

I really like the Explorer text on the bottom half of dial even though that diverts from the og/latest ref.

Same, it really evens out the dial. One of the main reasons I like this model most.

I know, owning a Toyota allows more money in the watch fund though.
