Heading to Vegas, what would you wear?
Heading to Vegas, curious which one you'd wear? I'm stuck between the root beer and the Daytona.
My options: 116519LN COSMOGRAPH DAYTONA Oyster 126711CHNR (Root Beer) 126710BLRO (Pepsi) 126600 (Sea Dweller) |

Not a Rolex.
LoL. Hot in Vegas. I would put the Sea Dweller on Rubber or NATO and rock that. -IndependentCandy14 |

Sea Dweller. Only because it’s the lowest value.
I don’t know how you do Vegas, but when we do it we don’t wear watches or anything of value. It’s one less thing to worry about losing during typical Vegas debauchery. |

I've worn my BLRO and 116500LN the last few trips to Vegas. No one really seems to care about what I'm wearing except the salespeople in the watch stores.

I am always a fan of this option!
I would personally go with the CHNR - I think it is classy enough for a nice evening out and versatile enough for a cocktail at the pool. You can also utilize the complication by tracking home time and local! Second choice would be the Daytona. You could also use the complication to generate money lost per time unit.... |

None you don't have an appropriate Vegas watch. You need a rainbow. Gaudier the better for that place.

After reading about the people getting targeted on high end watches, a Timex. I realize quite a few of them may have been doing things they shouldn't have to begin with, but still. But, if you were to wear one. Rootbeer IMO.

Depends on what you're doing. If you plan to spend the majority of your time on property (medium decent and above), you'll be fine wearing anything. If you're running around the strip and downtown, I'd be a little more protective.

CHNR has just the right mix of sport and flash. Go with that!

You don’t want to bring a Rolex to Vegas, remember the famous saying. “What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas” and that might include your watches

Put the BLRO on a nice red white or blue rubber b on tang buckle. Color and easy adjustments are nice in the sun, police cars and vip rooms.

Was just out there the week before last, stayed at the Encore. Seemed to have alot of security, bunch of guys that look like cops, many with dogs. I wouldn't worry about it if you are staying in one of the nicer hotels. Also saw many people roaming around with serious high end watches, great place to spot them.

Will you be drinking heavily with a new friend up in your room and pass out? That’s important to know!

Remember, Rolex OR hooker. Combining both never seems to end well on here.

Was there before pandemic. I had a creepy experience in an elevator regarding my Sub, you could tell the guy was really weighing his options. I’m also disabled which I think actually saved me because it felt like worrying about feeling guilty was what stopped him.
Anyway, I’ll probably opt for my Squale GMT or Tudor BB58 next time (this June). I was considering my Speedy but I’m not sure now…. |
