Incoming: Tudor Black Bay 58 S&G (Second Tudor This Year)
Prior to this year, the only Tudor I had owned was a Glamour Double Date and, in general, I wasn't a fan (I bought it after having a few drinks). The watch had some sharp edges, and its shape and size were just... off. So I sold it.
About six weeks ago, I decided, on a whim, to check with the Tudor Boutique in Los Angeles to see if they had a Black Bay Bronze and lo and behold they did. I loved it when I got it. I'm not crazy about the snowflake hour hand, but, really enjoy everything else about the watch. I had asked them about the Black Bay S&G, but they were non-committal. Today, a buddy was wandering through the mall and saw this one at the AD there and called me. I really dig the color scheme, the feel, and the retro look of it, so am now the proud owner of two Tudors - both bought in the last six weeks. |
