Ah, the beauty of the Internet where anyone can write whatever they want regardless of context, grammar, or even an attempt at making any kind of sense.

Having to take the SA lady out for dinner just to be on the waiting list, being a married man.

Beating their customers with a stick?

While in the store to peruse watches, your appendix ruptures. The AD immediately clears a counter, puts you on it, and removes your tonsils. You die from sepsis caused by the ruptured appendix. A clear case of malpractice.

I didn’t know there were rules of professional responsibility for watch dealers…

If I went in to get my left leg amputated and woke up to find my right one gone instead, that’d probably count.

The least they could do after that is to offer the next of kin a Daytona for MSRP, even if the next of kin doesn't have an established purchase history!

AD malpractice - The AD calls you with a white dial S/S Daytona when you asked for a white dial Explorer II. I hate when that happens.

Malpractice would be when AD directs you to do as follows: "it applies skin lotion on the wrist so the bracelet can be fit and sized smoothly."

To me leading the customer on, such as saying your name will be added to the "list" when in fact there is no list and certain watches like the one requested only go to select customers.

With all due respect, I think you may have misunderstood your SA.

on the other hand if it were fattened goose liver, it'd be considered very classy & superlative!

On the other hand, if my doctor gave me a Rolex as a prelude to checking my prostrate, I’d probably be more inclined to schedule that appointment…

That wouldn't be malpractice, then. I'd pass, but it sounds like some would find that to be at least as appealing as a bottle of sparkling water.

Not to sure malpractice is the right term…. They are not fiduciary… they simply sell goods….
