5711r for me. There are many nautiluses, and there are many PP complications/ grand complications. But there is only one 5711R in all its simplicity and opulence. So so simple but it pops so so much. Spectacular is the word. The simplest things are hardest to pop. The simplest food is hardest to make it taste good. Please just name me another watch that is so simple and pops so much.

Also, 5711r is unisex with its slim profile and straight down bracelet at the sides.

You may be able to get another good 5740ish watch in future, but you may never be able to buy another good 5711r in future (all stock is getting older as we speak, they aren’t producing anymore).
A couple of posts stated to go with 5711 because of the slim profile but isn’t 5740 also of slim profile? It is a little thicker than the 5711 but only by a hair.

The slim profile was the reason why I picked the 5740 over 5726 when both were offered even though the 5740 wait is significantly longer. (I am still waiting )

I'm afraid this Hourglass 15202 is even simpler (2 hander) and "pops" harder than the 5711/1R. Not mine of course and I grab this random pic from Google.

I have always been a fan of the 5740, that would definitely be my choice.
