Jumping into AP

I have plenty of Rolex’s and at times find myself wanting to jump into an AP. Mainly the chrono 26331st blue dial or white dial. Even the new 50th anniversary editions. I have never seen one in person. Are they all they cracked up to be? It’s definitely a different look but the bracelet along looks amazing. Any input would be appreciated

first of all welcome !!!!!
26331 are already discontinued and replaced by 26715
yes RO bracelet finishing is fantastic and super shiny!

I advise finding a boutique near your place and booking an appointment!

Hi 26715 is 38mm and I believe the correct replacement model is 26240, although it is a 50th anniversary model.

Imagine the stoutness of a Rolex with the beauty and timeless design you get with AP.

It's completely other level from Rolex...you'll never go back.

AP is on another level. I love Rolex but it takes a much hotter Rolex to get me excited vs AP. I basically only wear my VNTR as a daily and everything else is AP.

Jumping into AP

If you have never seen one in person then you are in for a treat! I bought my first royal oak sight unseen having never held one and when I opened the box it literally took my breath away and I was deep down the PM Rolex path by that point. I had never seen anything so finely made and finished before in my life. They are truly spectacular and the way the light plays with the finishing is something that can ever be captured by photos.

Was it a steel Royal Oak that you picked up?

Having seen my pal's many different forms of rolexes from the most basic to the most highest end pm, i just got to say AP is on a whole different level in terms of craftsmanship.

I just managed to get him into AP and he got ROO taupe as his first watch, and he wasn't able to sleep being so excited over it

Same here. Daily my Rolex as a workhorse out of nothing but practicality, but the rest of my time and energy is spent on PP/AP.

Yes my 37mm 15450 that I still own was my first. I subsequently also picked up a rose gold 38mm chronograph that is also amazing but I still think the steel pops more.

Agreed. Couldn't care less about Rolex anymore beyond using them as beaters. Like a Carolla next to a Ferrari.
