126610LV vs 126710BLRO - harder to get?
Hi guys,
just curious, what do you think is harder to get from the Rolex AD, Submariner LV or Pepsi? Friends say the Pepsi but I’m not so sure. Thanks :) |

Depends on the customer and the AD.
My guess based on anecdotal local gossip is BLRO is the harder watch to get. |

According to AD SA that sold me the BLRO years ago, the BLRO is less commonly allocated than 126610LV.
Personally, I think they are simply judging from anecdotal evidence based on their shipments so I would take that statement with a grain of salt. |

Well if you believe everything you read on the net all Rolex watches are hard to get. Unless you have showered a AD with gifts and spent $Zillion in the store and have a so called relationship of 5-10 plus years.

Contrary to the posts above, my salesperson said it was the LV that was more difficult (longer register of interest). It just depends on the AD I guess.

Thanks guys. Yeah, I guess it really depends from AD to AD. As we all know, they are both hard to get. But if the grey market prices speak for themselves then I would say in general it’s harder to get BLRO (if you compare prices BLRO vs LV).

My AD said they get between 25 - 30 GMTs annually but Submariners come in fairly regularly. I didn't ask about bezel colours.
When was the last time you bought A Rolex from an AD? |

I think that demand for the Pepsi is far higher.

BLRO, as it is more difficult to make the Blue - Red cerachrom insert than the single color green insert.

My AD told me their difficulty ranking at that particular AD for steel sub and GMT allocation is:
BLRO LV BLNR LN date Sub |

I know that one AD got 3LVs last month and one more this month, still no shadow on BLRO just to illustrate how the delivery looks

8 months wait for BLRO 1 month wait for Lv But I got them in 2018 and 2020, respectively, so times were different back then too Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

I walked out with a BLRO in 2020. I waited ~6 months for a LV the same year. Essentially, the complete opposite experience to you. There isn't really an objective way to work this out. In general, I get the impression that the simpler the movement, the easier it is to get. So GMTs in general are harder than subs etc., even if that hasn't entirely been my experience.

Pepsi. The demand vs the quantity, Pepsi surpasses the LV, it’s that simple

Pepsi much harder, and quite frankly I prefer it. For green watches I prefer my VTNR over the LV - Both are fantastic but I’m a sucker for GMTs

If they made a right handed VTNR it would be a hit.
