You have some gorgeous vintage pieces (in addition to this modded one), Dan. I'm interested in finding one or two, but really don't know where to start - other than browsing thousands of listings on ebay.

Thank you, Matt!

Seiko's and modding are both addicting. Might have a modded SXK007 coming up for sale in the near future. Do you want me to let you know if I do? Been rethinking the collection lately.

Do you do your own mods Dan or do you send your watches out?

Do my own mods. Once you get the hang of it, determine your strength and weaknesses [many of those], buy some tools, you find yourself doing lots of experiments. Many combos of dials, handsets, and bezels to have fun with.

You are a man of bravery. I have just left my Bell-Matic for service last week with my watchmaker (very professional place) and worried about it everyday till I got it back.

I bought a LNIB Seiko Tuna (SBBN015) the other day from the WUS FS forum. It should be here on Monday. I'm pretty excited about it. Pics will be coming soon!

I used to think Seikos were great values, now I think that they're great watches. I have a bunch, including a world time from the late 60's.

This arrived yesterday. Immediately put it on a black Isofrane. This is pretty much the ultimate tool watch if you ask me; it makes my SubC look like a fancy boy.

Awesome watch. It's my first quartz in a very long time, and probably the only one I'll ever buy. If you don't have one of these Seiko Tuna's, you might think about picking one up. It's a must for every WIS IMO; I've been eyeing this model for quite some time. I got the SBBN017 because I wanted the bead-blasted shroud and steel bezel.
