Icon9 Did i mess up my jubilee bracelet !!!!! Please help

Hello just need some advice,

bought my dj 36 from ad last week and let one of my buddies try it on with a bigger wrist w easy link out, carefully placed it on him and clasped it easily although it was tight on him

Since then I think i have noticed bigger gaps in the top half jubilee bracelet and more of a crooked stretch in the top half of the bracelet red circle in the images attached….Is this overthinking I thought rolex was durable !!! Please advise Should I just get the bracelet replaced fully? Any advice is appreciated or if worth getting replacement lmk or have you guys experienced this images are

if you cant access the link let me know I will find a way to get you guys the pics so desperate please

Any datejust jubilee enthusiasts please help!!!

Hmmm, that does look a little odd. Sometimes jubilees can look like that, a little "wobbly", when the bracelet is sized too loose. Silly question, but did you remember to close the Easylink back up? I'm sure another member will have some insight. Good luck!

EDIT: I just noticed that in your first photo, where it looks the most "wobbly", the side of the link that's up a little is resting right on your wrist bone, which is causing it to push up a little. If you move your DJ slightly further up your arm, the links should settle back down and rest flat against your skin. This is just my guess.

That’s completely normal. Jubilee bracelets are supposed to follow the contour of your wrist.

Looks like the link is a bit too long and might create the uneven look when i slides on your arm. On the first pic it really looks loose and as it has slides down on the wrist, with the lugs way too low

Yes, go out and pay 2,000 bucks for a new bracelet. You clearly want to.

Nothing damaged about your piece. You can go to your AD and look at their exhibition model on jubilee if they have one

If you really want to see if there is new, uneven stretch (although I doubt it from your narrative) then do this:

Detach the Jubilee from the head. Lay it flat in a smooth surface like a kitchen counter. Fasten the clasp in the position you had it for your friend and now pull the ends from each other tightly. I believe all gaps will be even and minimal.

Over the years your bracelet will get caught, twisted, pulled in every direction possible. Rolex has calculated that in their design for decades of regular wear.

Enjoy.

You actually let that delicate bracelet be tightened on a large wrist ? Maybe they’ll help you cover the 2k it’ll cost to buy a new bracelet. Sorry for your loss

FWIW a bracelet that suffers from "stretch" has nothing to do with actual stretching of the bracelet. More damage is caused by wearing a bracelet too loose than too tight. Good luck in whatever path you choose moving forward.

A Rolex can handle being tried on hard, OP. It's fine. Jubilee conforms to your wrist. It's normal.

For Christ's sake, did you buy a Rolex or a plastic toy watch?

These are made for use and abuse, enjoy it in good health!

Jubilee bracelets are born with some play.

These bracelets do not wear when overtightened but when worn comfortably loose.
The fitting on your friends wrist has had zero impact.

Get rid of the OCD and start enjoying, it’s just a watch
