Hard to believe such a short wear would stretch a modern jubliee bracelet. I don’t doubt your findings, but I’m very curious to how the old and new bracelet would’ve stacked up when compared. Glad you’re enjoying your watch 100% again. |

Kind of looks the same to me. But I only spent 5 seconds looking at your pics.

I don't believe it - no matter how chubby the other guy was. Modern Rolex bracelets are not flimsy.
What I think: 1) In the original pics the bracelet flowed over your wrist bone. This is normal. 2) In the new pics you've just moved the bracelet to a new position Not that it matters - we're all picky about certain things. I've jettisoned watches for reasons that don't matter to others. Let's take one of the new pics. One could now say "OMG - the new bracelet is uber stiff and sticks out from my wrist! Just look at that Gap!" |

Erm I think you might find you’re just wearing the bracelet a little higher on the wrist in your new photo
Anyhow as long as you’re happy |

Did i mess up my jubilee bracelet !!!!! Please help
Quote:
This….. the amount of wrist scar showing in the first bracket shots makes me think is further up you wrist / colder to your elbow and raising up on the RHS because it’s sitting on above the ulnar bone on the RHS. I’m your later photos I don’t see the scar so I’m assuming the watch is further down toward your fingers and sitting evenly over the ulnar bone so no tilt….. the jubilee is designed to flex and contour to the wrist more so you are seeing that mistral conform to the wrist below Edit - not a scar, maybe a reflection off the crown. But it does look further down your wrist with the last photos . ….Save the drama - I’m just here for the photos…. |

My AD says that a slightly bigger wristed fellow trying on a jubilee watch for 15 seconds can do as much damage and wear and tear as a properly sized jubilee worn for as much as six months. So you should consider replacing the bracelet twice per year.
This is why virtually everyone who buys a used jubilee watch immediately replaces the bracelet. Always factor a service ($800) and new bracelet ($1800) into any used watch purchase.

To be honest, I think you need to sell this watch because this doesn’t sound like you’re enjoying it. |
