Cyclops tint difference? Is this normal?

Can someone chime in on this?

On the 41 I see more of a blue tint of light, and on the 36 it's more of white. (If you look at the spot of light on the top left of date window).

36 is domed, 41 is fluted. Both of them purchased on 2022.

I was under the impression that both of these had similar AR coating?

They look the same from what i see, but hard to tell with the photos. I dont think these watches in particular have any type of AR coating fyi..... oh okay i see what your talking about. Maybe Rolex used different cyclops which had a slight tint change from the 36 to the 41. Here's a couple shots of my 36 and a 41 was going to pick up for comparison

Spent 5 minutes looking, still have no clue what you’re on about OP.

In my experience, a cyclops sometimes looks clear and in some lights it gives off a blue hue. In your side by side picture the angles are different, meaning one is catching the light more than the other, you only have to look at the dial on the right hand photo to see that so I'm not surprised the light reflecting from the cyclops may be slightly different.

Don't sweat it.

Found a response to another thread which shows exactly what I tried to show.

I wasn't aware that Rolex sources their crystals, so a variance in hue from different batches makes sense.

It wasn't really a concern but I had read before that a blue tint under the cyclops could signal a fake.

Your watch is fine, OP Enjoy!

Best advice:

Put down the loupe and pick up the Heineken.

Both of your watches have AR coating on the inside.

Those Laser Etched Crowns on the crystal are near perfect compared to most, at least that I have seen? On most the individual stars forming the crown are at different levels in the crystal and look not so straight and perfect as these. Perhaps Rolex has changed the manufacturing process of late?
