Icon14 In love with this piece

Received a phone call with great news

I was with a life-long friend and picked it up from the boutique with him.

The textured charcoal dial is very sexy, the numerals pop a lot & the Clous de Paris is the cherry on the top for me. Since my younger days, my grandfather has spoken to me about his Calatrava and I've grown up seeing him use it daily, it has the hobnail pattern and this makes me feel that I'm the next generation following the tradition and his line of work.

It is a Calatrava a young successful person like myself can wear without looking too formal.

Sorry for the first pictures that have a red hue, I was near a fireplace.

Huge congratz, the case (be it the 5226 or the 5326) is stunning and this whole watch looks fantastic in the metal.

It's even nicer to share this moment with a good friend.

Wear it in the best of health!

Well done for getting one.
It's a really comfortable daily wear for me and I know it's subjective but I think this
watch is so cool.
It reminds me of when I first got an Aquanaut many years ago
Under the radar and subtle but beautiful details...

Great pickup, congrats. This watch gives me Aquanaut vibes, so light on the wrist.

In person, it does remind me of an Aquanaut as well. It is very subtle, the details are very beautiful.

Amazing piece. Saw it IRL this past weekend and definitely liked what I saw!

Perhaps I am totally wrong but I have the feeling that this one could be a new 'Aquanaut' type of watch for PF. When the Aquanaut was introduced there was a lot of scepticism as well.

Enjoy your amazing watch!
