Watches for crypto currency or bitcoin
Does anyone know any sellers that are accepting bitcoin or other crypto currencies for payment?
Thanks James Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Why would they? Lately the cryptos have been rising and falling faster than a porn star.

Bitcoin values fluctuate WILDLY, to the point that its Russian Roulette to accept them for goods worth thousands of dollars. Insanity to accept Bitcoin for a Rolex.

Heaps of companies accept Bitcoin and other cryptos now for gold bullion.
I'm sure you can find someone to accept them for a watch. Heck there are house sales now in bitcoin. We just had one go through locally where I am. |

Why not sell the bitcoin and pay cash for the watch?

Overstock sells pre-owned Rolex and they accept BTC. However, IMO, their prices are way too high. I've been looking for a seller who accepts crypto, too.
As far as why: if you were going to buy something (a Rolex) and traded your BTC for cash and bought the Rolex with cash there COULD be a tax (long or short-term cap gains) consequence when you trade out your BTC for the cash, whereas trading BTC directly for the item removes that risk, to a degree. I know people who buy gold and diamonds with BTC, and then trade that for cash. It's the transaction out of BTC into a fiat currency like USD that may have tax implications. JCATT
