Amazing how a BLNR can suddenly appear from the back. They must have had a shipment come in within the last few hours

Congrats to both of you! and... remember to wear the heck out of it

I apologize if I misunderstood, but did you motivate your wife to basically spend over $10k so that you can move up the list?

I guess different families are different, but my fiancé and I have separate banks accounts and all

I wouldn’t have her spend from HER money so that I could benefit

If you would’ve bought her the watch with YOUR money that would’ve been cool

But otherwise, that blows my mind

It’s just a watch man

Or maybe $10k to you is like $10 is to me, and her spending $10 for your benefit is no big deal.

But man, this one got me thinking.

Our money is together - the topic was a bit tongue in cheek. She is very happy about the purchase - she very rarely spends money (not sure if any of you are married to Asian women but they tend to be somewhat thrifty - and she wears that honor like a badge - so it was a complete surprise to me that she liked it and wanted to buy it.

I had been in several times and told him what was looking for.

I had similar experience where I kept asking AD for BLNR and wasnt going anywhere, the moment I brought friends who bought watches from them, BLNR appeared same day

Congrats on the Twofer. Both are beautiful watches.

Difference in a Wife and a fiance'. Once my wife and I put our money together she bought me a Rolex. We both enjoy it. She gets nice jewelry and I get nice watches.

Yeah, I saw...

No critique to the OP - as you say, we’re all different, but regardless of money in the same place, think I’d feel more comfortable making an excuse to buy my wife a watch myself, and then as a benefit being able to gain my own watch. It would just sit better with me.

It’s still win-win’, just a different route of getting from a to b.

I suspect you’re on the same page.

Congratulations, OP!

It is only this way because people allow it to be.

I agree. But not knowing their financial situation, paying it from their together money could be mostly his money or mostly hers, or maybe split down the middle

But it would be too crazy to ask about that on a watch forum

So, I dropped it.
