Very nice BCL! I'm on the fence of having this done to my 116710LN!

I wear mine to work. I work for a law firm so it's not really a big deal. No one notices.

14060 to work. Not sure why, just do. Probably because my work is not a slinging dick competition like Real Estate / lawyers / investment banks. We design and engineer things so the image we project is less important than the results which will ultimately be tested and by millions of people all over the mundo.

With age you get a "who gives a you know what attitude"

I guess as you get a bit older (67) and have seen a bit of success in your profession you get a give a damn attitude about such things. Shooting an interview with a network reporter a while back I immediately noticed he was wearing a stainless Explorer but did not want to comment on it. When we finished he complimented me on my Sub and we had a nice conversation on Rolex. He was a younger chap who was proud to wear his on air.

I often wear a white-dial Milgauss on an orange Everest rubber strap. Wear it with a suit or a jacket all the time. No one has ever noticed.

I work in a blue collar industry where most people are not smart with their money and basically blow their whole check. I'm one of the few that do very well in my position and make smart decisions with money. I buy watches because I appreciate nice things and would rather buy one nice item then several lower quality items. I don't make it obvious what watch I am wearing and it sits in a safe during work and goes on/off when I show up and when I leave. People in my industry would be envious towards some nice watches but wouldn't say anything about an expensive car. At the same time they get the newest cell phone, newest apple watch, eat out constantly, go to all the hottest events in order to post it on social media, buy cars, and then wonder where the money went.

I wear mine, but I do fret it from the to time. My work is project/client based, and so every once in a while I find myself joining a new mix of people.

Now for whatever reason I have little hesitation on the first day wearing my Speedy, Navitimer, Zenith, Reverso... Etc etc. my 5 digit Rolex even comes out in in many cases.

I find myself working up to 6 digits after I've got a read on the situation. It's the ceramic factor
A bit crazy, right???

However, I can easily imagine putting all my rolexes in rotation in the right scenario. It helps if there are other watch enthusiasts around.

I've had some pretty silly and entertaining Rolex discussions with my past coworkers too. Eyes start to bulge when number go over $10k and I've always managed to navigate the talk in a fun way. But for better or worse the Rolex reputation is simply out there (at least in passing moments) whether people mention it or not.

I'm in a similar situation. I work among blue-collar workers and the PCL on my BLNR grabs too much attention. People comment on my Rolex watch as if I'm crazy to buy such an expensive timepiece only to wear it on my wrist. But yet, most folks at work drives a $60k+ Chevy Suburban and SUVs with 24 inches rims and elaborate car accessories.

I simply drive an old minivan. I think for some reason wearing a Rolex is associated with being a snob flashing or flaunting their wealth because many people can't imagine why anyone would spend $10k+ on a watch.

Me, on the other hand, can't understand why someone would put 24+ inches rims on an SUV.

That's why I just wear my Tudor GMT to work so people won't make a big deal of it.

All the time. It's actually an inside joke between my boss and I since he really likes watches but committing money towards expensive watches just isn't his thing.

I wear my Tudor Pelagos Blue working in MOD Pizza. Last week, a customer asked me if it was real! He was wearing a vintage Heuer chronograph.

Boss wears Tag.
He has never commented on my Sub.
Since he collects houses, I felt it was OK to collect watches.
We do talk about his houses quite frequently. I never bring up the watches.

I've worn mine just about every day for the last 30 years. It is a 168000, and it will go to my daughter after I'm gone. It would have gone to our firstborn son, but he passed on three years ago.

I am retired but I have had multiple careers and always wore a Rolex or Cartier and never had the slightest problem. I think this whole" Can I Wear My Rolex To Work?" thing started with the internet.

I wear mine everyday. My boss appreciates well made watches and she couldn’t care less if everyone else wore something better than what she is wearing.

I wear one of them everyday. My opinion is that it is a watch above all.

Granted a Rolex is a very nice watch, none the less, it is a watch, and thus a tool of sorts. I love mine, but never think of them beyond that outside of my own opinion and ideals. I don’t really care what others opinions are, and subsequently they have never mentioned my watches. I will continue to wear them everyday as that’s what they were intended for. Not trying to show them off particularly, but it’s the brand make and models I like, and I don’t particularly worry for others opinions in the work place.
