Our minds are thinking the same way. I took that pic as I was unboxing the DSSD and thought two alpha divers on the same wrist is trouble.

The ultimate smack down:
I think the POC might be a more intellectual fighter being a chronograph but the Rolex DSSD might be tougher with a much deeper WR rating and crystal thickness.

I have a large multi head winder so I will make sure I put a B&R ceramic between the Rolex and Omega.

Mega congrats, your photos are amazing. Looks better than it does on my wrist.

New lug size and bracelet dimension really make that watch...along with the dial of course!

I hear that it needs to be fit properly and worn tighter then others Rolexes as it can be top heavy and move around when wearing.

Great read, Mystro, thanks for all the great pics/comparisons - really enjoy detailed posts like this.

I concur: I got the call for my 126660 D-Blue last month (after only 3 weeks of waiting, thankfully) and haven’t been able to keep it off my wrist. I had the 116660 before and have found the tweaks to the bracelet/case/lugs on the 12 series to be perfection on my 7.25” wrist.

I never understood all the complaints about “not fitting under the cuff” either, as it fits under the cuffs of every shirt/jacket/coat I wear.

Similar to you, I’m 6’ 2” at 210 lbs; average wrists but I have big hands and though I love my 40/41mm references sometimes they feel a little small on me. Dig them all, but the new D-Blue is an absolute pleasure to wear and the wrist presence is undeniable.

Different strokes for different folks - thankfully there are plenty of options for all of us to enjoy.
