I much prefer this to either of the current SS models. Congratulations.

I take it the dealer must be going to meet you in a cafe for example literally in the arrivals area away from the store in the arrivals area?

As if not, you are landing, how you are going to have a meeting with him in the terminal as the store is air-side, i.e. you need an outbound ticket to get into international departures

Hope this question makes sense?

Assume he’s transferring through Heathrow?

I made the same decision last week. That is getting a PM instead of paying gray dealer prices for a SS. It also seems that others are considering the same move which will drive the inventory of PM down while pushing prices up. So great timing!
Congratulations the watch is beautiful...

I am connecting in Terminal 5, so assuming I will be in that terminal.

I’m also connecting through Heathrow on the home, and will have an outbound ticket to the US

Makes sense now, connecting only. It read like you were landing in london I.e visiting london.
Fingers crossed you have a decent length stop over and there are no delays in parking as Heathrow is extremely congested. Best of luck and let us know how you get on if you can reserve or order watches from these boutiques in advance. As that is an amazing revelation

Anybody know why TRF accept discussions about how to commit a crime? Mods?

I believe they Fedex the warranty to you.

If that gets lost they sit with a logistical problem. That's why they're taking on more than what is required by Rolex

If it gets lost from what I’ve read here, Rolex will not replace it. Only 1 warrantee card (‘papers’) exists so the problem sits with the customer ? Nothing the AD can do about a lost warrantee card. Or would you expect compensation by other means ?

I was in the same terminal yesterday, didn’t realize Rolex was there as we walked to our gate to board.

I usually get there slightly early to pay it a visit, just in case!

I flew out of T3 yesterday and I kid you not they only had two tone date justs and cellinis. Not a single professional model or even DD. It was unbelievable how poor the selection was

Smart move. WG are just a bit more than what the SS are going for these days.

Congrats!!!

What watches are typically readily available at Heathrow?
Which terminals do I hit first? I’m departing T3 but can travel.
Anyone have a contact at any store they mind sharing to see about availability?

Doesn’t matter which terminal you’re going from as all the ADs in Heathrow can move stock around. Just ring them up and ask them.

Had a chat with a sales assistant in T5 a while back on the tax question, I was told that if you are flying out of EU you could claim the duty free price, however if yoy were flying within EU them they would give you a discount on price equal to the duty free price. So no tax avoidance whatsoever.
