SBGY007 - anyone pick one up?

New vid on YouTube. Such an amazing piece

https://youtu.be/7WBfKJ4Erhg

Will be on my wishlist. Too many pieces recently, maybe will get this one next year.

Has anyone picked one up?

Home run of a watch. It’ll be very hard to resist next visit to Wako…

Still waiting for it to hit the stores. I've been told its arrival has now been pushed back to Aug/Sep.

Spotted this in Asia the other day. Was going for about $9.5k. Is there a waiting list in the US for this? Should I scoop this up?

Beautiful piece. Saw it in person at the GS Boutique in Soho. Still, it's just too baby blue for me. Wish it was more silver and less blue. Personal preference. Definitely worth a look though.

I have one since a few weeks. It is a wonderful watch. The blue dial changes in different light settings; it can go from a nice blue to an almost white.

I’ve had one for a couple weeks now. GS boutique on Madison Ave. It is my first GS - wanted to take the plunge for awhile but was waiting for the right one. This one checked all the boxes and it’s fabulous

Agreed it's beautiful... But something is definitely wrong on the watch... And that's the deployant... Far too thick and clumsy. But man this watch sings with other straps.

100% this. Cmon, step up the bracelet / strap sitch. Especially as you increase prices closer to 10k

Agreed. Having it for a bit, I also think a slightly wider lug would make the watch look much better overall, just not really perfect dimensions as is. But, killer dial !!!

Gorgeous! Wear it in good health. Can you provide more information on the straps?

Looks great on the brown strap. May I enquire where the strap was sourced from?

I got one Tuesday. If you need a dress watch its absolutely killer. I would love to compare it in person to a saxonia, jlc, and cellini to contrast the levels of finishing.

On another note, does anyone know how one changes the strap on the 007?

it's a standard springbar (though at 19mm, a bit of an unusual lug width) - so you just use a springbar removal tool (metal with a forked end); lugs are not drilled.

I would look into getting straps with a quick-release bar - the type that you just pull the little lever / knob with your finger-nail, and the springbar compresses for removal. delugs uses this on all of their straps, and I've been very happy with it. it facilitates and encourages strap swapping.
