This would be a great source of publicity for Patek, and for TS to show that he doesn't like flippers:

Make a 5711A Salmon, but will only be sold to clients who have not flipped their 5711A.

Clients will need to bring their 5711 and the certificate and a passport/identity proof to a Patek AD. Staff will check that the watch matches the papers, and the papers match the passport. Only after this check will the client be allowed to buy the 5711 Salmon.

(Of course this won't stop people "borrowing" the 5711 they sold, provided they know who they sold it to ...)

I mentioned a salmon colour dial many months ago on a previous thread.

Im surprised they would end the 5711 as a steel and not do something very special in say platinum

Even more surprising is that they are not disclosing numbers of green 5711 unlike the anniversary pieces which had I think (700/1400) pieces but the green is a mystery which leads me to believe like Ferrari and the 488 pista there might be quite a lot more than 1000 units

But doesn't that mean that you can only get the 5711A salmon dial if you've already been awarded a 5711A of another dial color?

But…. The only people who will get the ‘salmon dial 5711’ or whatever will be those who already have a 5711 right? No?

If they don’t have a 5711 right from the beginning, the odds of them getting the special model is as good as ZERO.

I don’t think that would happen but i think it’s a great idea.

Would this make sense?
- 2021: no more Nautilus news this year. So many rare handcraft and Nautilus models were launched in 2021. So they may release models more "buyable" (vs impossible to obtain).
- 2022: If I go it right, AP will have a major next year with the new RO. So I cannot imagine PP launching the Nautilus 5711 successor. However a "bombshell" 5711(P?) would make sense.

Rose gold generally looks better on my skin tone, so I don't mind it, but I agree that yellow gold should at least be an option on these.
