5168G or 5164A or F.P Journe Octa Havana

Since this is the Patek subforum, most people will recommend the 5168 or the 5164. Although there are a few Patek haters who like to bash the brand whenever possible.5164 is a nice watch if you travel a lot across time zones. Otherwise the basic 3 hand Aquanaut is a nice watch. Try both of them on and see which one you like better.

I would have gone for the FPJ, as I'm a big fan and I'm not too keen on the Aquanaut in any guise.

However, this isn't me, so congrats to the OP on making the right choice for him.

Why 5164A? One of my dream watch, Back then it was only over Usd30k but I hesitated to get it.

Also my first time to buy a heavy hitter watch made of stainless steel.

Congrats OP!!! Excellent decision amongst excellent choices :). I personally don't own a 5164, but know a few folks that do, and every one of them absolutely loves it. One of those folks traveled frequently with that watch and shared how awesome it is.
